The Blagdon Force Hybrid pump has been designed to deliver a great flow with pressure at over 2 metre heads as required for filter and waterfall installations.The new asynchronous, or single direction motor, uses the highest quality components available to deliver both durability and reliability, combined with economy and efficiency. This makes the Blagdon Force Hybrid pond pump one of the most unique filter pumps on the market.

The blagdon force hybrid pond pumps deliver a fantastic flow rate at realistic 2 metre plus heads, against significant back pressure with greater maximum head heights than most other caged pumps on the market, up to 5.5m. The Force Hybrid pumps can also handle solids of up to 8mm and have unique switchable hybrid intake systems. In addition, all Force Hybrid pumps come complete with multi hose tail inline ball valves allowing convenient control of the water flow in an easy to access location. Convenient flow adjustment fitted with ¾” -1” – 1 ¼” &1 ½” multi hosetail.

Multipurpose Force Hybrid Cage mode/Complete Cage Intake: Low intake speed and high surface area are ideally suited to general pond use and for minimum maintenance over the winter months or whilst on holiday.

Sludge Removal Force Hybrid mode/Pond Floor intake: High speed intake is optimised for filter performance and removal of sludge and up to 8mm solids, ideal for use during the summer months.

Sizing Information for Force-Hybrid Pumps Detail

Waterfall: waterfalls need 1360 litres per hour for every 15cm width to produce a regular flow.

Filters: Most modern filter systems require a minimum of half the ponds volume to be pumped through them every hour.

Pipework Losses: 25% of the Force-Hybrid pumps performance can be lost due to the resistance and friction of hose fittings and UVC clarifiers.

Pump Lift/head: The higher you pump water above the surface the bigger, more powerful pump you need. Work out the highest point which you require to pump the water in your system.
