All of our garden planters are hand thrown on a wooden wheel using the ‘coil’ method. Each garden planter is produced in 7 inch stages, which are left to dry prior to adding another coil of clay. Requiring a high level of experience, production of these terracotta garden pots & urns is a pain staking process, with some of the large planters taking up to 5 days to complete!

Able to withstand the harshest of winters, our outdoor planters make an ideal choice for a variety shrubs, plants, and with our large garden planters, even trees!

Cretan Pots are exceptional quality and have great durability. Once utilitarian, the shapes now provide a focal point in many gardens, home, office, hotel or shopping area. Many are still made to the same designs used by the Minoans 4000 years ago. The pots are crafted with a wide range of styles and sizes.
